Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you, our valued clients, and us, Etu Travels.
By booking or engaging in any tours, products, or services Etu Travels offers, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms.
Please thoroughly review and comprehend these conditions before proceeding with any bookings or participation.
You must carefully review the itinerary and conditions of your tour. To secure your reservation, a deposit of $200 per person is required at the time of booking. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your booking and provide details regarding the remaining balance of payment. (Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received).
The remaining balance is due at least 21 days before the tour begins. If the balance is not paid by the due date, Etu Travels will consider the booking as canceled and apply the cancellation charges as outlined below.
The total payment is required at the time of booking in the following cases:
If you are booking within 21 days of the tour start date
If you are booking tours lasting less than 3 days
Please note that reservations are subject to availability, and we recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred dates.
Bank transfer, international money transfer services, Visa & MasterCard.
Changes to bookings can be made based on availability and are subject to our discretion. We will assess availability and discuss options with you that may involve additional costs beyond the original plan.
Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Refunds are provided according to our cancellation policy, which may vary depending on the tour package and the timing of the cancellation.
There will be a service charge of US$100 per person on cancellations received at least 25 days before the booked tour departure. Otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable unless it is applied to another trip departing within one to two years.
If you cancel your booking after you have paid in full, the following cancellation charges will be made:
Between 21 and 29 days before departure: 30% of the tour cost after deducting all transaction fees
Between 15 and 20 days before departure: 40% of the tour cost after deducting all transaction fees
Between 8 and 14 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost after deducting all transaction fees
7 days or less before departure (or fail to join the tour): 100% of the tour cost
We believe in providing a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for our clients. However, we also recognize the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. That’s why we highly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive traveler’s insurance.
While insurance coverage will be provided for our customers, it is essential for travelers to assess their individual needs and consider obtaining their own insurance for added safety and coverage. The responsibility for securing adequate insurance lies with the traveler, and Etu Travels shall not be liable for any losses or expenses incurred due to inadequate coverage.
You must ensure your visa and passport are valid and suitable for the duration of your tour. Etu Travels does not accept responsibility for any issues or disruptions arising from visa or passport problems.

At Etu Travels, we understand that every traveler is unique and strive to accommodate special requests to the best of our ability. If you have any specific requirements or preferences, please let us know before booking and placing a deposit.
You must disclose any health issues, disabilities, allergies, or severe medical conditions to us before booking. We reserve the right to decline your booking if we assess that participating in our programs may pose significant challenges or risks to your health or safety.
At Etu Travels, we collect personal data from our customers to confirm tour bookings and for marketing purposes only. We assure you that we do not sell or provide your personal information to any third parties.
You may opt-out of marketing emails by notifying us via email.
During our tours, we may take photographs and videos of our customers participating in various activities and experiences. These may be used for marketing purposes.
If you do not wish for your photos or videos to be used, please notify us in advance.
We will provide you with an itinerary and consult with you to tailor it to your preferences. Itineraries serve as a guideline and are not contractual. Delays and changes may occur. No refunds will be given for unused services.
Tour Conduct and Safety: You must follow your guide’s instructions.
Health Information: You must disclose any health-related concerns in advance.
Personal Belongings: You are responsible for your belongings.
If booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring all members agree to these terms. Etu Travels considers the representative’s signature binding for all group members.
By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of travel and agree to assume full responsibility for your actions.
Our responsibility begins upon meeting the tour guide in Ulaanbaatar city. Etu Travels is not liable for incidents prior to this meeting.
We expressly disclaim responsibility for the following:
Natural Disasters
Governmental Policies
Civil Unrest and Conflicts
Acts of Terrorism
Epidemics and Health Emergencies
We advise all participants to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
All terms and conditions are governed by Mongolian law and disputes will be resolved in Mongolian courts.
To pursue any claims after your tour, you must notify Etu Travels in writing within 14 days of the tour’s completion.
